Mick, Ken has also just got one of the prototype Blues 28's, which sounds amazing.
If you're out & about I will be taking my Lightning to an open mic in Pudsey most Thursday's or in Batley third Tuesday every month.

I wasn't nagging or even hinting . . . . . . . honest. Although I'm not sure if I shoudl be trusted with wood bodied guitars any more . A couple of weeks ago I dropped my Gibson L1 , end pin onto a tiled floor and split the endblock and sides right round to the waist.
Straplocks people , staplocks.

( did I mention staplocks )

Back of the queue Clark!
( actually I'm probably behind you 'cos I only got confirmation that I'm on the list a couple of weeke ago. )
I keep seeing things being posted to this thread & thinking that it's that nice Mr Messer saying that they are on their way.

I bought this earler this year and it is a thourough 2 disc trip through all the common blues keys and how you can identify the key of the song and tuning by recognising the licks being played. A lot of it is common sense ( some of it is only common sense when you see it explained ). . . but if like me you want to work songs by ear this will give you a leg up the technique ladder .
I think it is useful - like all these thing YMMV.

Andy I've had an RC2 for years but I've only recently started using it for live use. As it stands it's great a backing band for practice, but with the adition of a double footswitch it'll get over the 'double tap' to stop problem with the single pedal bosses. I think that the only thing that is missing is a dedicated switch to both end a loop and start an overdub. If you want to borrow an RC2 for a play you're welcome to have a blast with mine for a week or so. Bob.

I'm not a big fan of Mark Radcliffe's style of presenting - I feel exhausted after listening to a few minutes, and the aggressively apologetic intro was cringeworthy, but I'll give him a few weeks and listen to Mike Harding's Podcast as well.

If not can I have an invite to your party?
Thanks, Bob.

There were a couple of MM guitars from the latest batch at Pocklington, I think one had been delivered on the Thursday before the weekend. They certainly looked, sounded and played well.

Exacto do a nice range of razor saws that fit into a No. 5 handle, they last for years too.
