are these Phosphor Bronze?
as they dont work with my sixtus pickup ..also will they be available in lighter gauges i.e 13's?

Yes Pete, Stevie Ray did use 13 -58 GHS Boomers .013 – .015 – .019p – .028 – .038 – .058 in Eb for most of his career ..and went down to 11's for the last year or so..
i have read several sources stating that at one point he had an 18 gauge on the high E!!
He also use to put super glue on his forearm and then dip his fingers into it .

Last night before Doug Macloud started the vwnue played a film with old blues footage,sone house,Fred Mcdowell etc... now the it i am interested in is footage of a blind man playing 12 string acoustic.
it is in black and white , the gentleman concerned is black, suited and booted, dark shades and sitting at a table outside . there are 3 other people around him one has a ukulele who later joins in and another has a guitar.
i know its sketchy but does anyone recognise it?

Was brilliant ... he played a black wooden M1 tricone with a white headstock .and built in pickup. sounded really good .
He used in standard and various open tuning's
the tricone sounded soooo sweet...

Have just got in from seeing E.C headlining Hyde Park with G99Hutton
lower down then bill were Santana, Steve Winwood, Gary Clark Jr and the surprise for me lukas Nelson and promise of the real ,,superb ..
i would describe them as "Swampy Blues"
They currently Neil Young's backing band.
