Jono, it looks good.
Many decades ago in 1978, I had a Far Eastern-built Hummingbird which I converted into a JJ Cale machine with a cutaway and loads of pickups. I stripped off the lacquer, cut a chunk out of the body with a saw to make a cutaway, then I fitted various pickups and a mic inside. It all worked great and I used it for a couple of years, then I gave it to a charity shop in Scarborough and that's the last I saw of it. Hmmm... I wonder if it still exists!

A couple of years ago I had a 1968 Gibson Hummingbird. Great guitar, but I could not cope with the narrow neck (only 1 9/16 at the nut) so I sold it and bought a Martin D18 instead.
