This young woman makes the Resorocket sing! One of the best versions of Ramblin' on my Mind I've heard too...

I love the little parlor sized Stellas from the 50's and 60's. They make great little sliders. In the US you can find them pretty easily for $20 or $30 bucks and they ar d efinitely worth that if you find a good one. I have 2 that are in awesome shape and sound really good for what they are. I even put a little homemade (for less that $5) piezo tab pick up in one of them and it really sounds great thru a little battery powered busking amp (Roland Micro Cube). The one in your E-bay ad is not a parlor size tho as CBJ pointed out. Personally I like the parlors. Here's mine:

Didn't know if that show, "In Living Color" ever made it to your side of the pond. David Allen Grier, the Weyans Brother, Jim Carey and others all got their start on this show in the late 70's. I was a teenager who was diggin' bottleneck blues and I loved the Tubbs character played by Grier.

Garage Band? I have all 3 on my Mac. Never have recorded music, but I've done VO's for video on Soundtrack (which is part of Final Cut). I want to record a song I wrote, it's kinda a joke for some friends of mine but I'd still like it to sound good. I'll probably need to combine several track to get it right, I'm a bit of a hack player!

I have 2 of them as well, great slide machines! I just use Martin SP Phos-Bronze 13-56 mediums. Seem to work well for me!

I just scored this Tele-Star off evil bay for $20. Haven't gotten it yet though. Anyone know anything about them? I know it's made in Japan , probably in the 60's or 70's but that's about it.

Anyone know anything about these guitars? The one I found is $599. The one in the photo above is about $2500. Here are some crappy cell phone pics of the actual guitar. It doesn't appear to be exactly like the one in the photo and there are no other markings on it to tell if it's a Gibson made unit from the same eara or if it's from the 50's or so.
