hello there, I have a national 1997 style o guitar and would like to adjust the truss rod ,in normal circumstances ..no problem, BUT I am sure that somewhere in the past I saw a article saying that the truss rod was adjusted the opposite direction to conventional guitars , just wondering if anyone could advise me on the correct proceedure...or was it pure fiction !
kind regards

CLASSIC BRITISH AMPLIFIER IN PRISTENE CONDITION Celestion G12 M greenback speaker
The Vox AC15 C1, is a two channel amp, with reverb and tremolo, it has a 15 Watts RMS output, and as mentioned earlier, the upgraded Celestion G12 M greenback speaker, with a 25 watt power capacity , 16 ohms impedance and a 75 Hz bass resonance...still with the owners manual , it has never left the house ,and has been looked after, therefore, is in perfect condition.( I do have the original fitted blue speaker should it be required) asking £400, anyway I am open to offers near the asking price
I would clearly prefare a pickup from my home ( also a chance to try out before buying ) ,otherwise, the postage appears to be around the £30

so, so very sad to hear that terrible news, I saw johnny 3 times playing and once socially and was totally blown away with the musicianship (which was way above great) and generosity of the man , . the first time meeting with him was at Hartlepool , cannot think of the name of the place ( maybe the studio ? ) I arrived quite early , and just waiting around at the entrance , this guy opens the door leading to the playing area and asked if he could help...I had a crack with him and he said don't stand out here come inside we spoke for 10 mins or so... me thinking he was the caretaker so when the "caretaker" took the stage I was knocked sideways. When he took a mid set break he was standing at the bar i approached and mentioned i had not recognised him, i told him that i recently bought a dobro h33 and was struggling with the playability, he replied see me after the show and try mine out and see what you think...wow. the last time i saw johnny and his wife was in Morpeth he was waiting outside the shops for his wife. He actually remembered the hartlepool meeting, and we spoke for 20 / 30 mins or so joined later by both wives. i remember his wife saying he was improving and was actually playing his guitar that very morning. My deepest condolences go out to his wife ( a lovely lass ) and his family.....for my part, it was a total privlage to meet with a massivly talented musician and a true gentleman.............RIP johnny, you will be missed
