Anyone play slide in Standard tuning ?
On the resos it always in open G or D ...but i usually go standard on an LP or Strat ..i find it really tests the brain trying to work out
where the slide needs to go to avoid bum notes.

Not put me off in the slightest.. i mainly paly on Open G or D ..but occasionally put my Mick Taylor "head" on ..
i have the technique sorted its the licks that throw me due to the limitations of the tuning.
