Does it matter which finger is used to dampen the strings behind the slide?
Have just seen a video of someone wearing the slide on the pinky (as i do) annd dampening just with his index finger , so the 2 next to the slide
were raised and doing nothing ..

I got my Luthier to remove the black paint off my chinese Tricone a couple of days ago.
it was on thick ..Luthier reckons paint stripper wouldn't of done it ... had to be scraped off ...

Early 90's came home from the pub a bit pissed ...turned on the telly to "Crossroads" film.. next day went a bought 2 CD's because the had a black men on the front playing guitar.. John Lee Hooker "Mr Lucky" and Robert Cray "Strong Persuader" ...

For those mere mortals like me who follow tab rather then being able to pick stuff up listening to records . This site i have just found isnt bad . 52weeksofblues.com/?song=death-dont-have-no-mercy-4some of the songs have chords as well as tab and a sound clip as well. Jon |
