I haven't tried to play any of the tunes so I don't know if they are correct, but it looks well done.

Jono you sell yourself short. You do indeed pick up things by ear. On its own, tab is of limited value, but it does act as a very helpful roadmap for those that eschew manuscript for whatever reason. You still need your ears to turn the tab into a coherrent musical statement.
I had an early "housebrick" Ericsson 'phone and you could write your own ringtones using a crude editor on the 'phone. I chose to write Floyd's "Money" theme (as in Roger's bass line). It took me several frustrating hours! As a result, I was reminded of the wonderful Eric Morecambe and his remark to Andre Previn about having all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order. In my case, getting all the lengths of the individual notes (and just as importantly the spaces between and their lengths too) was very difficult. It was at least a unique ringtone! This is where your ears / brain interface comes in to play, ably assisted by the tab road map.
That's before you even consider inflection, dynamics, vibrato and sometimes time signature etc, many of which are not (ordinarily) covered in tab, but are so important to the end result. Trust those ears because they are your friend in this endeavour.
