Lets start a club as cousins of the MM owners club.
I have a Cannon BCA 005 08 and a Deco BDE 008 08
Plenty of videos of the Cannon on my You Tube channel and there will be one or two of the Deco recorded on Sunday, all being well.

Here's one of 2 videos I did yesterday using the Deco. uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn0ix10EtKEEnjoy! Not only does it have a huge tonal range, but a vast volume range too. Playing that way makes for a very loud guitar unless I do little more than caress the strings. There are more on You Tube but you can go and find them if you want to!

Better still, have one where people have both, or all three different ones, then we can compare and contrast. Does anyone have a vintage National AND a Busker/MM Blues?
I guess the MM Owners Club is model specific, the Busker maker specific, and a vintage National one would be era specific as well.
Start a vintage National owners club thread Wolvoboy, but you must insist on pics!!!!

As the great Croucho Marks might have said; lets form enough clubs so we can hit each other with them!

Hi,
I've just ordered a Busker Deco but it won't arrive till late February. Can I join early?
Spoke to Robin yesterday and he's basically overwhelmed with demand for his resos. This is great news especially with the economic downturn.

Must have bought the last Deco before Xmas then - my wife purchased it for my birthday present (19.12) - opened the box, tuned it, looked at it and then had it snatched away from me and hidden. Roll on the 19th!!
Sounded wonderful and looked gorgeous.
What strings do most people use???

Hiya Nick,
I've got a similar problem with a new amp and a Diamond Evolution slide...both are in the house, but I'm banned from using them until Christmas...pressies from the missus!!
With regard to your query about the strings, I think all the Busker guitars come with Newtone strings on....they're great for sure...I've put some Newtones on one of my Strats recently and they're brilliant...tone and and tension (for slide work) is top notch....

I believe it's called deferred gratification!
Just in passing - I thought Buskers Guitars whole service was excellent.
Along with the Deco my wife (bless her) also bought an Evolution slide. I'd be interested in how you get on with it. I am a raw beginner so it's all new to me.
Question about the strings arose beacuse I borrowed a Vintage tricone and it had much heavier duty strings on it which made for a less 'zingy' sound. Is the brightness due to new strings syndrome or the Deco's resonance - I don't mind it just interested in variations possible.
Cheers ;D Looking fwd. to the 19th!!
