Hi everyone, I was contacted a few days ago by musician Eddie Martin. He sent me a photo of himself with his National guitar and asked if I would post it on the "Interesting rare old photos of Resophonic players". I am happy to post the photo on this forum, but I didn't think it fits in the thread mentioned above. However, it did give me an idea to start as new thread of photographs of musicians with resophonic guitars. So now there's a place where we post pictures of current living players. That includes pictures of forum members with their guitars! Please do not send me your photos, there are instructions about uploading and viewing photos on this forum. Good luck! >If you have problems uploading photos, please let us know & we'll do our best to help. Here is the photo and a quote from Eddie Martin. "So here’s a pic of me and my 1931 Duolian with replaced fingerboard" Eddie Martin Thanks Eddie, Shine On, Michael.

Hmm, trying then to paste in some photos.. Alright! Seems to work, here's some photos of me and my darlings(I hope my girlfriend don't read this..)!! These were taken at the local museum, they have an old photo studio from the early 1920's.. Makes the pictures look old, don't you think..?! Me playing at a local pub here in the town of Östersund!! Cooold... But the National sure warms you up!! ;D

Hi there ! Its OK to put up a photo of me and my Nat then ? A circa 1941 National archtop electric Or does it have to be a resonator National ? (I'm just being silly ! Of course it does !!!) (my 1935 Duolian, in a bar in Spain - playing to my niece)

Snakehips, great pics!
Andy, Stefan's website is wonderful, it has been around for almost as long as the web itself. It is an amazing document.
Nice photo Mark. It's hard to believe that was fifteen years ago! I will have a hunt around and see what I can find. Your link was not working either, so I sorted it out.
Shine On, Michael

I think I just worked out to upload a photo. (I'll look a right twit if this ain't right... so no change there, then!) This is me soundchecking at Masham Town Hall, just before a gig supporting Steve Phillips and The Hamsters during the Black Sheep Music Festival on June 17th. I like the [completely fortuitous] lighting on this shot. Cheerily Gerry C

Hi Nick,
First of all your jpeg is way too big for the forum. You want to make it approx 600 pixels wide. Then put them back on photobucket with the link (just like you've done) and I'll help from there.
Shine On Michael.
