all i can see is literally [image] in place of where the pic should be.

I don't understand the problem. I have just dropped in as a visitor and I can see all the photos and avatars. Perhaps one of our forum members can help as I don't have a clue?

Guys,,,,,i hang my head in shame..... i've just checked my profile and said "yes" to the 'view images' option and i can now see what a handsome bunch we all are! thanks for the help dudes!

I have never noticed that option either. The admin section of this forum has all sorts of goodies on offer, but I am scared to make any changes because I don't want to mess up what we've got!
Now we know....we have a choice....pics or no pics ;D

In current ebay auction #290329572999 there is a curious picture, probably 1930s, of a young lady wearing what may be a gentleman's hat, a circa 1932-33 National Duolian, and not too much else. I'm not certain that she is a musician, though someone with the ability may wish to post the picture here. With the combination of elements, the southwest motif in the background and the untold story, it is quite a picture.

I went to a Mean Fiddler show sometime around 92/3? It was a great show. As well as meeting John that night, I also met the great pianist Johnny Johnson who was playing that night.
Was that the show you went to?
