On the drive to work today, I was listening to Morgan Davis who is a staple on the Canadian blues scene.
In university, in the 1990s I used to go see him every Tuesday night in a guitar/harmonica duo at various downtown Toronto bars.
He taught me how to play Death Letter Blues when I was 20 and was very encouraging to me when I was starting to attempt to play bottleneck.
Shoot... the video won't play here.

I remember seeing The Spencer Davis Group at our local club in Portsmouth. As a 15 year old I was absolutely mesmerised watching Steve Winwood this.

I remember about 20 years ago while backpacking around India with my wife, coming upon small bar. There were three musicians playing. Sitar,Violin and Percussion. We were the only people in there and we sat for couple of hours listening. And all evening we the the only 2 in the place. After they had finished playing, the Sitar player came over and thanked us for staying and listening.
