Saw the real Fleetwood Mac many times in the 1960s and it still amazes me how young they were generating music of that and this quality.

Hi all Enjoyed listening to this collection in the car today: Joe is certainly the consummate musician, arranger and singer. Some great tracks on here ‘Meadows’, ‘Turn To Stone’, ‘Rocky Mountain Way’ and ‘Ashes, The Rain and I’ to name but four. I like the way he uses some low-tune acoustics on his tracks as a flavour, it really grabs my ear. He’s not adverse to recycling a riff either. Andy

if you look closely, you will see Charlie Brown has a clear glass slide on his finger.
[PD--you gotta love these moves on an upright bass]

Jimmie Vaughan is not a showman like his brother was, but his playing is very tasty.

Jimmie is a great player and in the late 70s with the Fabulous Thunderbirds he made some wonderful music.
This is pretty good, recorded at the BBC thirty years ago in 1994... Boom-Papa-Boom and Two Wings.
This one sounds a bit better, but the picture is rough.

Jack Pearson always hits the spot. He is such a great musician. Jack was in the Allman Brothers band for a while.

I have a real soft spot for John Martyn and saw him live many times in the 70s and 80s. The music was so beautiful and uplifting. He was a crazy guy for sure, and a mix of scary and infectiously funny. Miss him.
