Hi All,
I'm in Robin at Busker's 'in tray' waiting for an MM Blues, but he is flush with work at the momentso I am having to be patient. I need some reassurance from you MM Blues owners that it will be worth the wait because it's not proving easy ;D.
In the mean time , I am have started working on playing with two fingers (rather than three that I am more accustomed to) to go with my regular thumb pick and have invested in some dunlop steel finger picks which a proving to be a 'character building' challenge!!
Regards, Barnsy

Hey Man! I am also in Robins "in tray" at the moment. Waiting for a Tricone. Couple of months away I reckon.
I already have a Busker Delta, and I can assure you without even having played one that the MM Blues will be well worth the wait. Once I have the Tricone, I'm going after the MM Lightning. That should go someway to answering your question!
Sit tight, it'll be well worth it.
Finger picks, character building. Yeah, tell me about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Regards.
Rich.

Hi Barnsy,
We are victims of our own success. Both Robin & I would like to to speed this process up and are looking at ways to achieve that without loss of quality to our guitars.
Each guitar is setup & checked by either Robin or Ron at our workshop. To ensure that every guitar goes out with a top quality setup Robin & Ron are spending between one and four hours on each instrument. This takes time, but does ensure that your guitar will be setup as well as a guitar costing three times the price. At the time of writing this, the only way we can achieve that is by doing the final setups (consisting of >nut, bridge, neck angle, fret dressing, general check and test) ourselves.
Your patience and loyalty is very much appreciated.
Shine On Michael.

Thank you for the heads up Al. Much appreciated. Barnsy and others in the queue; there is currently a competition running in Acoustic Magazine to win an MM BLUES. It must be worth a shot and you'd jump the queue! Shine On Michael.

Michael,
I tried hard to compose my post so that it didn't come across as a moan because it wasn't. Apologies if I failed to achieve that. I've had two great conversations with Robin in which I have picked his brains over lots of issues acoustic blues wise and am really enjoying the forum. Just wanted to invite people to comment on their MM/Busker in a positive way to inspire me to be a better player by the time I get mine. I waited a lot longer for my McIlroy a while back and that was well worth it.
Hope to catch up with you at Blues week.
Regards, Barnsy

Hi Barnsy, If you are anything like me, despite all the praise heaped on the MM Blues on this forum, you will STILL be surprised when you get yours. Most people seem to praise the bluesy sound and volume, but to me, equally important is the sheer playability of it. I am sure Michael could sell this guitar for a lot more money if he chose, so it really is worth waiting for. I can still remember the feeling when I got mine over a year ago!!!!!

Hello Barnsy
I know how it feels, along with all other MM Owners, to be waiting for the resonator to be delivered. Take it easy and look forward to ownig a class instrument. I own several guitars and recently bought my first resonator, MM Lightning. I treasure all my guitars, but there is something special about the MM, not least the feeling that I got a bit more than I paid for, the workmanship and pre/after sales service is second to none. I was prepared to pay a lot more for a resonator, but after a bit of research decided to take a gamble, albeit an educated one, and go for a MM. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks for all the responses everyone. I am hoping to be 'invited' to try a few MM Blues at Blues week so don't be concerned if any of you are going to be there and I appear to be stalking you!! ;D
Any other MM blues owners out there who want to sing the praises of their instrument please chip in?
Regards, Barnsy
