Barnsy, after a tantalising wait like yours I recently became the owner of a Busker Delta, which is pretty much the same as the MM Blues, and I am absolutely knocked out at how good it sounds and plays. I was going to say 'for the money' but in truth I am blown away at how good it sounds at any price!
Hang in there bro'; good things come to those that wait.

I'm now the proud owner of MMB0190 10! She arrived on Friday. Was she worth it?Yes she was and more so by miles! Just from what I've read here I was expecting a gem and I got one.I'm new to slide and resonators but after a quick tune up I felt at home with her straight out of the case.I was expecting some awkwardness because I'm used to the much narrower neck of a regular acoustic, but not so,a very smooth play. She's one of the batch that you mentioned in another thread Michael, the aged finish like the Delta but without either the Busker or Messer logo on the headstock.I'm sure Robin would have put me a Busker logo on if I'd asked but I just thought no,leave her as she is.Also this one has a plain cover plate which is cool because I prefer the smoothness of the rest under my hand. Originally I had in my mind that I wanted the plainest of aged finishes as I knew they each comes out with a different character but when Robin described the finish and then sent me some pictures I was sold! The finish on this one is somewhere between a very subtle tiger skin pattern and frost on a window pane.Very cool! People say you get what you pay for but I think I got way more than that. She sings out now, wait until shes beds down! Grinning like The Cheshire Cat!
