Growler - that looks magnificent! Really cool pic! We've not had snow here but last night (Mon) was the first one for about a fortnight that the temperature didn't drop below zero; in fact, for the majority of the year so far it's been below zero during the day!
It's nice to see that you are already preparing for the visit of several dozen sliders with a good few steaks in the freezer! ;D
Bonne annee, mon ami!
Cheerily,
Gerry C

Hi,
I'm near Totnes in South Devon, UK. There's a guy in Totnes who does guitar repairs, setups etc so if you're local, PM me if you want his details.
Bye
Alan

Hi everyone, I think it would be useful to all of us to know where forum members are based. There have been a few posts recently by members asking for local guitar repairers & looking for people to meet up with to play music. So this information would be helpful. Another reason for finding out where forum members and visitors are based is because I have been thinking about putting an event together where we could all meet for a day. There could be instruments and accessories exhibited and some performances, classes and lectures. This is something that I have wanted to do for a while, but not done anything about making it happen. Maybe 2009 is the time to start! Please leave a message with your thoughts on this, and some detail of whereabouts in the world you are based. We don't need an address, just the town or the county, and if not in the UK, country. As we have members all over the world it would be helpful to put more than just the name of the country you live in. Thanks. I think this will be helpful to all of us. Shine On Michael
