I was just playing the blue Dobro a few minutes ago. Sounds lovely in D7th tuning.
Louisiana Red loved that guitar. He really got into playing his Elmore James stuff on it. I think we recorded with it at the BBC for a Paul Jones Show.
I'm thinking about putting a pickup on it again. It's 30 years since I played it plugged in!

Thanks Michael, its reassuring to hear you say that!! I'll start a new thread when I get it and post some pics etc, I have no doubt I will be looking for some advice on how to clean it up a bit Thanks David
