Hi Michael and all,
I have an MM28 and tuned it to D for the latter part of MMs slide guitar DVD tutor. I find the action is frustratingly low.
I know it encourages a great technique but I am finding it a barrier to progress.
What is the easiest way to raise the treble strings just slightly?
Bill

Hi Bill,
Your guitar should feel right for you, and if it doesn't, it needs something to make it feel right. My first suggestion would be to fit a set of MM Newtones 16/56. >>EDIT...not 16/56, it was a typo! 16/59s. My apologies!!
You might think that's too heavy, but on those guitars I really like them. I send a lot of MMB28s out with them and everyone likes them. If that is not the answer I will explain to you how to raise the strings a little.

Thanks Michael, I will try a set of 16/56 first and see how I get on. Bill PS I tried searching for 16/56 and came up with 16/59 or should I just get first (and maybe second) strings?

Ouch!!! Bill I do apologise, I meant 16/59! Just a typing error. Get 16/59 MM Newtones.
16/56 is not what you want!!!!
