Hi Mississippiblue,
Welcome to our forum and thank you for buying an MMB.
I saw on your other thread that you bought it from The Twelfth Fret in Toronto. They are great people and their service is first class.
Thank you for your kind words!
Keep in touch

Hey Orbital, Thank you very much for welcoming me to the Forum. It is a great place. I agree with the fact that the MMB puts a smile on my face every time I play it. The MMB puts a smile on my face permanently. It is such a pleasure to play and own. The craftsmanship is excellent and the neck is just spectacular. Michael Messer truly gave us something special with his line of guitars. He's THE BEST!! Take care and Keep The Blues Alive.

Hi Mississippiblue
Can´t praise enough the MM-Line. Recently bought the MM 28 from Michael. My co-musician is so much impressed considering buying a wooden reso although he´s not involved in slide-stuff so much. I own two Johnsons and an O.M.I. Dobro Model 90 Duolian, but i think getting rid of them Johnsons and buying me the MM-Blues and Lightning too in not so distant future. The manufacturing quality and the TONE of the MM 28 are outstanding, so the rest of the line cannot be disappointing. Had several P.M.s with Michael about the excitement this guitar gives to me, but i stopped communication for playing it. Sorry, Michael. You soon will hear of me ;-). And as rumours going ´round, there will be a tri-cone model in progress. So we lucky members could have the whole range of the most important resos for about the 3rd of the cost of the NRP just without the headstock-logo and NO loss of tone. ´nuff said
welcome to the forum
Gerry

Hello mrpwrslide,
Thank you for your message and welcoming me to the forum. You've got some nice gear and you are right on the money with the Messer line of guitars. My MM Blues gets better and better every day. Now a Tri-cone is in the works.....Oh boy, my wife is going to scream. I had the pleasure of playing a 1930`s National. My MM Blues is VERY close to it. These guitars are OUTSTANDING. I also own a wooden Epiphone Hound Dog...totally different animal with a spider cone. Take care and Keep The Blues Alive.
Kindest Regards, MississippiBlue

Mr. Messer,
You have given reso lovers the opportunity to finally own a GREAT guitar at a VERY reasonable price. Quality craftsmanship, excellent tone and attention to detail all in one package and no second mortgage required. What more can we ask? I wish you continued success and once again - Thank You.
Oh yes..... Thanks for Keeping The Blues Alive

Hi, I've played guitar for 50 years and this is my first venture into resonator guitars. I bought an MM blues 14 fret and I just love it. I'm retired and I now have more time to indulge in my passion for music and guitars. Although I have some high end American guitars both acoustic and electric, I just can't get enough of this chunky neck and sweet tones. On Michael's advice I got in touch with Ian McWee of diamond slides, and have bought an ultimate crystal slide which just makes this guitar sing. This guitar just transports me to a place I've not been before it's an amazing instrument.
