Thanks a lot for the replies!
I know it is a resonator forum, so I wasn't too sure if the Gibson sound would go over, but I am glad it has. If I play the same tune on a National, I find I have to cut back the amount I play because the reso will emphasise each note, but with the old Gibson the notes merge together and we can.....let rip!

Hi BK,
It was never set up as a resonator forum, more a slide guitar and music discussion forum, but for obvious reasons it has become very much a home for resonator discussions.
The Gibson sounds great!
