Geez you must be a proud a man! That resonator just looks and sounds superb. I had to watch/ listen 3 times in a row before I could get around to logging in! Nice work. Starting to think a wood body may have to be on the wish list at some point.

Thanks Nickel. Your kind words are much appreciated.
It took me a long time to get this model off the ground, but I am very pleased with the guitar and with the amazing responses from everyone who bought one of the first batch. It made the whole thing worthwhile.

I've been a bit out of touch on here recently, not least because I've been travelling a lot: Spain and France before Christmas, New Zealand in Jan and Feb - but also because I've been playing my Blues 28. I can only agree with Al and others that these are superb guitars. They look and sound as if they cost at least twice what they actually do. As I acquired 016 MM Lightning in 2008 (the first batch of them), I thought it would be good to have 016 of the first batch of 28s. Robin at Busker was very helpful (as always) and also kindly supplied a 'chicken-foot' cover plate to match my Lightning. So I'm now the proud owner of TWO "Sweet Li'l Sixteens"! My luthier friend Bill Dinsdale (www.billdinsdale.com ) installed a Schatten NR-2 pickup for me and I've put on some Golden Era tuners from Stew-Mac, as the bass side tuners were not quite up to scratch: the only (very minor!) problem I've had with the 28.
I love it. The only problem is that all my other guitars want a divorce...
Cheerily,
Gerry C

Hi everyone,
All the new shipment of MM guitars have now been set up and will go out to their new owners over the next couple of weeks. I am very happy with the work that has been done at Dave King Acoustics.
I will be emailing out invoices and arranging delivery in the next two or three days.
Thanks

Hi Michael,
Just to say thank you for the MM Blues '28. I've had it awhile now, it never seems to get as far as the case and it feels just like and old friend.
