It is an interesting film that has been doing the rounds recently.
I am not sure that many music historians would put Speedy Krise in the history books. I have no problem with Speedy and have many of his recordings, but IMHO he was not an innovator or a pioneer, he was following in the footsteps of Clell Summey and Bashful Brother Oswald. He played Hawaiian guitar in country music, which was first pioneered by Clell Summey and Brother Oswald.
