When I used to live in the UK (Reading) many years ago, there was a duo called "The Kennet Sheiks" played regularly at a pub called "The Dove". This guy is one of the duo, anybody know them?

Keith, I didn't know you lived in Reading and used to go to the Dove.
Have we ever met?

I don't think we've met Michael, I left Reading 94 although I do spend time there when in the UK. It is possible I saw you play with Michael Roach at one of his early workshops in Bracknell (before I knew of you of course)! I also used to frequent "The Retreat" in Reading but I didn't see you play there either! I think the Dove is no more!
Keith.

Thanks for that link Stuart, Very interesting and seeing MM's post, what some great names I missed after leaving Reading. I'd have loved to have seen Roy Bookbinder! I think seeing you guys play was probably the first time I'd seen a resonator guitar in the flesh (metal) so to speak, so I suppose my tinitus is all your fault Keith.
