Hi Phil, Thanks for posting the link. It hasn't been mentioned on the forum until now. The flyer only came to me a day or two ago. Here's the information... The North American Guitar company has a blues event coming up on Wednesday 30th January 2013 at the prestigious Riverside Studios in London. We'll have awesome performances by blues virtuoso slide guitarist and blues innovator, Michael Messer, Blues Award 2012 Winners, Babajack, and John Bull & The Bandits. The tickets are limited availability priced at £35 per person. This includes a dining package of canapes and a free glass of bubbly during the interval. We are really looking forward to this one, it's going to be a great evening! Please do spread the word! Tickets can be purchased either on the website or by calling Aimée Withrington on +44 (0) 203 130 7095. Shine On Michael. Attachments:

Same thoughts as Waffle, if you go to the link they've linked to the respective web pages of the lineup, with some video samples. Best Wishes from across the pond!

Thank you Harriet - your message was very much appreciated and timed perfectly. I was doing my sound check when my phone beeped to alert me that you had left a message! It was a really good night and the promoters, North American Guitar, did a great job as it was almost sold out. The music was excellent and everyone had a good time... I am sure some photos will turn up at some point today. Shine On Michael

Thank you, I am glad it wasn't distracting and glad it went well I am wondering if you keep any kind of formal record of a performance set list or is it intuitive, and do you change the repetoire once on stage? Do you have to submit a set list in this kind of multiple performances acts setting? Peace, Harriet

You didn't distract me at all. In fact you cheered up my soundcheck!
Playing solo concerts and duo concerts with Ed Genis I do not have a set list, I just use intuition and let the moment guide me. Playing with other musicians, I work with a pre-written set list so everyone knows what is going on.
