I didn't know that was being shown on TV. Recorded in 1981, It is a wonderful film that I have had for years on various formats. I think it is available on DVD these days, but pleased that the Beeb have put it out.
I have really enjoyed the Crossfire Hurricane documentaries too. There will never be another rock'n'roll band like the Rolling Stones. In every way they epitomise being a rock'n'roll band and being the characters in a rock'n'roll band. Wonderful stuff!

yes thats osteoarthritis, but from what I read it might not interfere with his playing and not hurt much, if at all. My mom's hands were similar and she did her assorted yarn art pieces up into her 80's.

Thankyou Bod - I did not know about this...iplayering later!
Crossfire Hurricane was a really nicely made film I thought. It brought to life a lot of stories in Keith's autobiograhy - a film would be brilliant though.
I'm keeping everything crossed that the Stones play Glastonbury this year. I was lucky enough to get a ticket.
Harriet is 100% right, that is quite advanced osteoarthritis in Keith's hands (wear and tear). Quite possibly worse than it might have been because of his playing. I hope it doesn't hurt.
