Hi Waffle, Yes, it has been a long time since I released an album. Lucky Charms was released in 2006. In 2008 we started the MM Guitars company and since then, apart from various projects with other people, I have not released an MM album. In 2009 and 2010 I toured with Louisiana Red and I recorded all the concerts to make a live album, which I hope to release someday. I have just finished producing a debut album with Lucy Zirins and will be starting another production project very soon. So I have been in and out of studios a lot in those years, but just not making MM records. I will be recording a new album for release in 2013, it is about time! I am not a believer in making albums for the sake of it. I have to have an artistic direction and reason, and something to say that I have not said before. I am now in a position, creatively, where I feel I can make a new album. I have also had to come to terms with the insanity of the music industry as it is today. As you can see by the article I posted about Spotify, that making a record work financially is not what it was a few years ago. Lucky Charms reached number 10 in Russia in the mainstream pop charts, but due to billions of illegal downloads it did not do me much good! Crackly Hums - I guess from your use of it in your message that you are aware that it is an anagram of Lucky Charms. The idea was inspired by the Fawlty Towers signs at the beginning of each show....Warty Towels, Flowery Twats...etc... Shine On Michael
