HI Michael and others.
I have been surprised. I believe my playing skills have developed.
There are four changes I have made. I bought the National Trojan (with very generous help of Michael) started to use thump pick also in finger picking. I also changed addario strings to Newtone Master class strings in my ordinary acoustic (it sounds like different guitar now) and last but not least we started to play together with my friend with resos every other week. And of course I bought both Diamond and King slides. And then...suddenly... I had a lot of better control over rhythm and vibrato ...It started to sound like music in both slide and finger picking.

Hi,
Just last night I compared Trojan with Ozark to get some idea why I believe development of skills have something to do with that new reso. I noticed that in my Ozark (fitted with nrp cone and MM strings) bass side is round or soft. I can't here the rhythm. In Trojan I can hear beats very clearly. Changing of strings (addarios to newtones) plus using thump pick made same change in sound in my ordinary acoustic guitar. I can hear beats.
