Hi Pete, Ian, Tony & Steve, Just a short note to say thanks very much for making me so welcome today at the West Midlands Resobash, and thanks for answering my "idiot questions" without laughing too much ! I very much look forward to purchasing an MM Blues, and once I have mastered the basics, joining you once again for an enjoyable afternoon with like minded people.
Thanks once again,
Pete - Cleobury Mortimer.

Big shout goes out to Pete and Tony for putting the Resobash together today. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere where no one was out to impress and a great craic was had by all concerned. And we were joined by Pete, cornerstone of "The Mandolin Orchestra of South Shropshire"! Every one revealed that they had played the mandolin at various times in their past. Ian's Going To My Hometown" went down well on my Fylde. Just a brief divergence from the reso event. A good display of tin cans including two 1930s Nationals to try out and all washed down with plum wine....well worth the round trip for me. Cheers again.
