It takes a year-and-a-half--no, two years--to get an account approved here?!? I forgot why I tried to sign up in the first place...(maybe to post some photos to illuminate what people were writing about in early 2006--no, late 2005).

Hi Hollowneck & others whose accounts were approved yesterday after TWO YEARS!!!!! I will explain - I just found an area in the 'admin' part of this forum about about approving new members. I set this forum up and have hosted & maintained it since the beginning, but I did not know about approving or disapproving new members. So yesterday when I stumbled across it I clicked APPROVE NEW MEMBERS.....and hey presto after two years you are now APPROVED!!! My apologies - I may know a lot about music, slide guitar playing & resophonic guitars, but I am not a techno-computer-head. So once again my apologies and WELCOME.
What I don't understand is why most people are able to join without being approved? I guess there were 30 names in the list waiting for approval.
Shine On, Michael.

LOL ;D I thought this thread was going to be about how much delay to dial in when recording a National Two years worth of delay is a bit excesive. It's equivalent to the reverb of a concert hall with an internal space 22 times larger than the distance from the earth to the moon Just thought I'd share that Robn
