Hi all
Simple query - how do you guys clean your fret boards? Once a year i remove all the strings and clean up my guitar fretboards with conditioner and wire wool .
Reason i ask is that, on my tricone, i change strings one by one so to keep the pressure on the cones so they don't move around. Just wondered if you guys had any tips on cleaning fretboards with the strings on or do you just bite the bullet and take em off?
Cheers
Roj

Hi Roj,
I clean all my fretboards with lemon oil. I got mine from Dave King, but I am sure it is available from Stumacs.
To clean the fretboard on a Tricone - just leave one or two strings on; either the 2 Es or the D&G. Or.......just take 'em all off and pray.
Shine On, Michael.
