Hello Blisters and Michael Here are some pictures of Alan Timmins F1 instruments. Sadly, together with Michaels Tricone and a couple of others, these are likely to be all that appear. The top two pictures show Mike Cooper with his Tricone and the bottom two pictures are Dave Peabody with his 14fret Style O?

Following up the last pics, the Style 97 type instrument on the top left (amid a pile of other junk!) is Alans first Tricone from 1988.

Thanks Michael and Mark for posting those pictures. The carbon fibre F1 guitars look fantastic, I've never seen any before. What a shame that they aren't being produced anymore.
Cheers, Iain.

Sadly, F1 resophonic guitars were only produced in very limited numbers. There are only a dozen or so (including Tricones, single cones, mandolin & ukes). I will post some pics of my Tricone over the weekend. Mark, do you have any photos of the mandolin & the uke?

Here are pages 140 & 141 from THE ACOUSTIC GUITAR by Nick Freeth & Charles Alexander. The F1 carbon fibre Tricone is mine. The nickel style 97 Tricone is the instrument affectionately known as the TimminsMakinBown-O-Phonic which was explained & discussed in this thread and the thread called BELTONA TRICONE.
