Here's a few nice clips... Kully Stiles is a new name to me. He's a good player and he works with some interesting people too. Eccentric, but that's perfectly okay with me.
Thanks to Lee (Leeophonic on here) for pointing me in Kully's direction.

Crazy Horse have always made interesting music and the song that I have liked since I first heard it as a teenager, is Crow Jane Lady. I like the use of Crow Jane in the lyric and there's some nice slide from Ry Cooder, just around the time of his first solo album. Also of course featuring Jack Nitzsche on vocals. I think he wrote it.

I guess that is because Kully has been on Facebook today playing his eight string tricone with his Jimmie Rodgers tribute trio. Or maybe you and I connected via a whole other dimension. Hmmmm…. The last of my three Sunday "what am I listening to" ...... Bo Diddley, on the Ed Sullivan show in 1955. I think this was his first TV appearance.
They are all playing brilliantly and Bo's guitar is just extraordinary. Nigerian JuJu music disguised as rock'n'roll. Just amazing.

They're on European tour right now, I'm planning to see them in Kraków, PL. I haven't seen them live, but I have liked Hazmat Modine since they first appeared on the scene. The current line up is cool. Wade Schuman had and still has great vision and they make interesting and enjoyable music Shine On Michael

Looked up some info about Dobro Fiddle Edges in the archives, and I ran across Sam Mitchell. I know many of you know him, but some of us may not (I didn't). Great slide stuff with this Double-Dobro band with Kim Gutman. Got a new rabbit-hole for me to go down!
Also, great stuff on this LP.
