I’m listening to today’s purchases…
The Black Keys - Delta Kream. Revisiting the Mississippi Hill Country back catalogue of Fred, RL and Jr live in the studio with help from Kenny Brown and others
Fuzzy Lights - Burials. Cambridgeshire psych folk
Cedric Burnside - I Be Trying. Modern Hill Country from RL’s grandson.

While we’re at it, back to the source. Texas Alexander with the great Little Hat Jones on guitar.

I have known this for many years, the album is Somethin' Blue on Folkways Records. It is an unusual sound for Lightnin Hopkins, but also a great sound. Earl Palmer on drums, John Ewing on trombone, and I think Jim Bond on bass? Shine On Michael

I have always loved these guys, ever since we used to see them on late night TV in the early 70s.
Genius!
