'All We Are Saying' is to be released on 27th September 2011, featuring Jenny Scheinman (violin), Tony Scherr (bass), Greg Leisz (slide guitar) and Kenny Wollesen (drums). Ever since I heard Bill Frisell's 'Lennon' Barbican Concert in London on the 15th November 2005, I've been waiting for this album to be released. Listen to the complete track of 'Revolution' hereJust how good is slide guitarist Greg Leisz?

Greg Leisz is almost like a british trading standard stamp you look for when you buy things, I have bought a lot of music on the basis that he is on the disc, so how good is he? one of the best, try the latest buddy miller album to get a good feel for his musicianship. As for Bill Frisell he always is surrounded by great musicians, I am not really a jazz fan but some of the more blusier stuff he has done with Ry Cooder etc is as you would expect top drawer! Regards Lee

Kevin Brown was staying at my place a couple of years ago and took me to see Bill Frisell and Greg Leisz at the famous Continental Club here in Austin. I'll never forget that show. We were front row with those 2 guys just a few feet away. I agree with the "seal of greatness" stamp of approval idea that the previous post mentioned. Any music with Greg Leisz on it is worth owning.
