Hi Michael,
With the sudden demise of LRC, the workshops disappeared too. Do you have any plans for a workshop in or around London in the not too distant future?
Regards,
Chris.

Hello Chris,
Good to hear from you. I would be happy to do some London workshops, but without LRC arringing it and giving us a space, there are no current plans to have one.
A couple of months ago Chickenbone John (forum member in Birmingham) got together with some friends and I went and did a workshop in a pub that John knows quite well. It was a great success and proved that all we need is between 8 and 12 students and a venue on a Saturday afternoon. I am up for it, but I don't have the time to take on organizing a workshop. Perhaps you should start a thread ...'MM London Slide Guitar Workshop' and see if we get some response? Just an idea. Another suggestion would be for you to have some private tuition with me. I am happy to teach one to one, but it's not cheap.
Shine On Michael.

Hi All
Im up for organising something around N London way, but it will have to wait till after my wedding which is 2 weeks away (an counting). I live in a small village just south of Luton and will check out how much the village hall is.
Cheers

Hi Roj,
This is a great way of making a workshop/event happen. I am very happy to travel to Luton, London, or anywhere to do a workshop. Generally we are looking at £30 to £40 per student (8 to 12 students) for an afternoon session, but if everyone is into it and raises my fee, we can do a whole day.
...Happy Birthday & congratulations on your wedding in two weeks!

Hello Michael and Roj, My mate Danny and I saw Michael playing at our local - the Plough in Walthamstow, a couple of months ago and we were both talking about coming to one of Michael's workshops at the LRC, now sadly defunct. We would certainly be on for a workshop in the general North London area. Cheers and let's see if we can get a few more people together... Pete.

Hello I'd also join in, definitely. Might even be able to arrange an all day venue in London N19 at a college where I teach, Northern line, easy to get to.
