HI Michael The workshop today was brilliant ,myself and Jules were talking on the way home how much info we had picked up from you and also from the other guys as well we really enjoyed it ,you cant beat the personal touch ,i think its the only way for us beginners to learn also i would like to thank chickenbone john for organizing the workshop roll on the next one keep pickin and slidin Wolvoboy

Glad you enjoyed it.....thanks to everyone who turned up, and a big thanks to Michael for travelling up to the West Midlands for the day. It was great to met people face to face....and your'e right, you can't beat the personal touch. I certainly came away with some very useful nuggets of information and technique.
Just to remind you, my Bluesquarter blues session is at the Red Lion Warstone Lane, Birmingham, last Wednesday of each month (it's free!), and the Sutton Blues Collective acoustic session is the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the The Station Pub, Sutton Coldflield (£2.00 in ... a bargain).

I thoroughly agree with wolvoboy and will certainally take on board Michaels comments to work on rhythm a lot more. Thanks Michael (and chickenbonejohn).
