Hey Michael, I happened to listen to the Bremen Gig at the Breminale on German radio... The performance AND the live sound recording both was phenomenal - there was a special vibe that I could only hear on your live performance compared to the record - I was so stunned by listening to the gig that I missed the exit on the driveway ;D Love your records, too, but since you & your band have something special going on on stage, is there any way that you release this or any other live gig on CD? Would love to have that one! Thanks for a great experience Nico

I have to add that I'm a sound engineer and I was really stunned by the sound quality... The mix balance was perfect, stereo image stunning and the sound was expensive - as if they'd used a big Neve board or something like that....
And the presence was just right, not too bright at all (compared to anything else that goes through an FM limiter).

Hi,
What radio station was it and do they have a "play it again" on their web site? I'd love to hear the show.

Hi Nico & Robn,
I too was knocked out with the quality of the recording and I am pretty fussy about these things. It was all done with superb equipment and technicians. When I heard the recording, like you.....I was amazed!
Radio Bremen are renowned for their amazing live recordings, they have a long history of it. I guess the guys to thank are the production team - Volker Steppat, Arne Schumacher, Klaus Schuman, Inge Schmidt, Peter Knetsch and Christine Potschkat.
The band is definitely different on stage and that particular show was a good one! It is not possible to stretch out and play that way in a studio.
I would love to release that recording as a live album - watch this space!!!! (You should write to Volker Steppat & Arne Schumacher at Radio Bremen and tell them how much you enjoyed the show).
Nico - do you live in Germany, or was it a coincidence that you heard the show?
Thank you very much for the kind words - they are very much appreciated. It makes all the hard work worthwhile.
Thank you, Shine On, Michael.

Hi Michael,
I do live in Germany, but I heard the show by accident. Was driving a very long distance and enjoyed the whole show... Man, you gotta release that one!! Also love the interaction of the guitars!!
Will write the guys at Radio Bremen... Do you have an e-mail of them? Also, I think that stuff doesn't even has to go to the mastering studio... What their radio limiter did to it was just fine! (But then again, didn't hear the unprocessed version, so maybe the foundation is even better) - not squashed yet present, alive and totally dynamic. Perfect!!
Tell me what to do and I'll be glad to help out!
