Have been playing guitar for quite a few years and would like to invest in an all metal guitar...but can I get a left handed model without breaking the bank? budget is tight. any suggestions would be welcomed.

Hi Wildbill,
Firstly, welcome to the forum. It's new and still developing, but we're having fun.
If you are left-handed and require a budget priced resophonic guitar; I would advise you to buy a single cone model (not a Tricone) and fit a new bridge & nut the other way round, and that should do it.
There is a thread on here started by Tricone John about upgrading budget resophonic guitars & he is very pleased with the bridge & nut that he got from Pete Woodman on the Isle of Man.
Shine On & keep in touch, Michael.

Yes, one of the advantages of resonator guitars generally is that they are easy to convert to left-handed because the bridge is at 90 degrees to the strings, not angled like a regular acoustic. There's none of that business of filling the old bridge slot and having to rout a new one.

Hi Wildbill, I have had 2 resonators from London Resonator Centre supplied as left hand by them. Both (a cheap Regal single and a polychrome baritone tricone national) have been faultless so give them a ring - there information and service is second to none regards Cameron
