I'm in need a big fat dirtyish tone for my telecaster to plug in to various house amps, I'm thinking not too pricey but all considered thanks.

Crowther Hot Cake..not cheap at around £135, but a very good quality, nicely built and very tasty overdriven sounds. I've got one: I sold my old Ibanez Overdrive (the original orange one) for serious money....a lot more than the Crowther! It was very powerful, but too raw and dirty compared with Crowther. If that's what you prefer, consider the Ibanez Overdrive (green) re-issue.

thanks for answering i'll check it out, i want a nice classic tone, i'm not positive what i want because i'm more acoustic driven, i tried the crossroads pedal but was'ent knocked out, but if He recomends it i might have to settle for that.

Hi Sonshine,
I don't know about pedals to create classic sounds, I always use old or reproduction valve amps. So I am not the one to advise you about fat sounding pedals for telecasters.
Keep in touch,
Shine On, Michael.
