ANy chance of you coming up here soon?

Hi Bryan,
Hey....thanks for dropping by and saying hello!
I hope to be touring in Scotland sometime this year, but so far nothing is confirmed.
Wherabouts are you based?
Three years ago I played at the Shetland Folk Festival, it was pretty wild up there! A great place. I also used to play in and around Perth quite a lot, it was a few years ago. I love Scotland, I gotta get back there soon.
Keep an eye on my website, I am sure some Scottish dates will appear.
Thanks Bryan, Shine On Michael.

Hi Michael. I'm fairly new to your terrific music (and this forum) but I'd like to put in a word for a Yorkshire visit on your way up to Scotland later in the year. Your spring tour seems to have gone to great lengths to avoid us!! Have I missed a recent visit? I'm appearing at the 2nd Black Sheep Music Festival in Masham (N. Yorks) this year - on the bill with Steve Phillips and The Hamsters: whoo-hoo! - and I'm going to recommend the organiser to get you for one of the future fests there. Hope to see you oop ere in t'grim north soon.
All the best
Gerry C

Hi Gerry,
I used to live in North Yorkshire and 25 years later still feel like it is a second home. I lived up on the coast north of Scarborough in a place called Staintondale. I know most of North Yorks pretty well, it is a beautiful county.
I drove down from Newcastle on Sunday night and I nearly detoured off into the Yorkshire countryside for a while.....but it was snowing & it was 3am, so I continued on home!
I was hoping that my UK tour would take me to Yorkshire, but sometimes it is hard to get to every area in one tour. I certainly hope to play some gigs in Yorkshire this year. The Black Sheep festival....I don't know that one, but please say hello to Steve for me when you see him. Steve used to live nearby in Fylingthorpe, but that was after I had moved south again.
Thanks Gerry,
Shine On, Michael.

Hi Michael - thanks for your reply. It'll be good to see you up here. Steve still lives in Fylingthorpe and I'll probably see him in a couple of weeks when I go to visit my daughter in Scarborough: I usually time my visits to coincide with Steve's regular Tuesday night gig at the Grosvenor in Robin Hood's Bay. The Black Sheep Festival is fairly new: the first one was last year and proved successful. There's a website for it, to which there is a link from mine - www.gerrycoopermusic.co.ukCheerily, Gerry C

Hi Gerry,
I also lived in Scarborough, just for a few months, but it was great. I lived above a shop on the Falsgrave Road.
I'll check out the Black Sheep Festival. Thanks.
Keep in touch, Shine On, Michael.
