Greetings A great show last night ,I guess you got all the cases back up the steps in the end.! I went home really inspired, and having had a good seat from which to view your fretboard work I think that I have taken a bit more onboard.Am I tempted to put the old tricone across the lap and venture some slack key? Well, perhaps not yet,but certainly I am moved to be more adventurous in my playing.I should have spoken to you,but truth to tell I am too shy, unless I have a guitar in my hands! Anyway I have a gig in Shrewsbury tonight.I hope that the good people in the Coach and Horses enjoy my playing as much as I enjoyed yours last night. Thanks John

Hello John,
Thank you very much for your kind message. We really enjoyed playing last night - that theatre has a great sound and ambience, and we had a great audience.
We did get the cases back up the hill. Can you imagine what it is like for bands with amps, drums and PA equipment. For those who don't know the 'Theatre On The Steps' in Bridgnorth - it is a very old theatre built on the side of a hill in a very picturesque old town. The problem is that it has NO vehicle access at all, not even for emergency services. So the only access is to walk a couple of hundred metres down old steps built for donkeys. It's okay going down, but back up again after the show......PHEW!!!
The threatre should keep a couple of donkeys!
You should have come and said hello, but I do understand about being shy. I hope your gig goes well tonight.
Shine On Michael.

Greetings Michael The gig went well thanks. It is a nice little venue that I have played quite a few times, but I still find it odd that most people are eating while I am playing,at least during the first set..And it is on the flat! I have decided that I would get e great deal out of attending the workshop,so I look forward to meeting on the 19th.I will speak. kind regards John

Greetings Michael It looks like I was a little premature with decision to attend the workshop. The admin told me this morning that there were vacancies, but when I went to book...full up! Confusion between workshop and concert they tell me.A great pity. So it looks like back to solo practice. kind regards John
