Hi All, I have finally finished all my planned work on my MM Blues and Busker Cannon, everything! The last jobs were to install NRP biscuits on both and polish the neck on the Cannon. This, as with the MM Blues, came up really well and looks great. I have made some notes on what, why and how and my views after on my website, hope its of interest to somebody. Along with the boring details I have some sound clips of the Blues and before and after, yes did not think to do it with the Blues, with the Cannon. web.me.com/melproudfoot/Mels_Stuff/Resonator_Tone_Changes.htmlI can tell you that the recordings do not reflect all the aspects of the changes, for instance the Cannon sounds even more different "live" than the recording. I learned quite a bit doing this work and it was fun doing it. By the way, for all you lucky Busker owners, if you put a bit of metal polish on the cool Busker badge come up very well and looks awesome. Your comments, suggestions and ideas, as always, welcome - its how we all learn! Guess all I have to do now is learn to play them, as you will hear from the sound clips I have quite a bit of work to do. Cheers Mel

Mel,
Your MM Blues is stunning. Simply superb work. Your whole website looks great, I shall have a proper look around when I get a chance. It looks very informative.
Cheers, Iain.

Hi Mel Really Impressive!!!! I love the way different lighting angles effect the engraving.
By the way, excellent article, the people who write the instructions for flat pack furniture could do with some lessons from you. Very well explained. Frank
