Not slidey stuff, but BBC 4 are broadcasting a 1970s TV concert by Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee tonight at 11:15 or thereabouts. Also currently available on iPlayer is a programme called Folk America - Later which is a compilation of clips from Jools Holland's Later progamme featuring US folk-type artists. There are a couple of duds (The Nightwatchman? Norah Jones!!!) but generally it's high-quality stuff. Highlights for me included Chatham County Line, Buddy Guy solo and acoustic, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, the wonderful Emmy Lou Harris (with whom I've been madly in love for nigh on 40 years!!) and a quite splendidly off-the-wall character called Son of Dave. Watch and enjoy. Cheerily, Gerry C
