Whatever happened to this guy. Last I heard the government had taken over his assets & he was living in Sweden. Is this true or crap ?

This site www.fmlegacy.com/Bios/biopeter.html is the only one I can find after a quick net search which is more or less up to date. I've just finished reading Martin Celmins' biography of Peter, but that only goes up to the mid-90s; although it's a sympathetic treatment of Peter, it's rather superficial in too many places. As a musician, Peter was (still is?) top class; as a man, as an example to others of struggling to overcome personal demons, he is a hero. Wherever he is, I wish him the best of luck; his very first Fleetwood Mac LP turned him into one of my guitar heroes, which he has remained. Cheerily, Gerry C

Hi all, I saw Peter Green several times during his 'comeback' time with The Splinter Group (and took my son to see him). Sometimes he was OK, sometimes clearly unwell (not wanting to play at all e.g. the double bill concert with The Bluesbreakers in 2002) and sometimes really pretty good (in 2003 for example, he seemed more confident and enjoying the performance more). The only authentic looking websites I found were one that records the fact that there was a legal dispute between him and Nigel Watson - ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/archive/index.php/t-21044.htmland the advert for the forthcoming concert during March in Liege - www.spiritof66.be/agendouble.php?dateaffichage=1234393200
