Hi There I've been an acoustic/electric player for many years, but recently I’ve been getting more and more interested in resonators. I'm planning on getting a MM guitar at some point over the next couple of months (when the wife isn't looking ), but having said that I picked up a dobro hound dog a few years ago for next to nothing and didn’t really look into it that much. I don't know anything about it, but it has no serial number and the finish looks relatively old. Who knows? It has a rattle going on and I know the strings are wrong, in fact I expect everything that can be wrong probably is. I would like to get it set up, as it does seem like a waste just having it sit there. I wondered if anybody had any recommendations as to where to take it? Kind Regards Trev

Hi Trev
I'm in Birmingham, and would be happy to have a look at it for you. I've built, restored and set-up a few resonators (spider, biscuit, resoelectric and Del Vechio types) so I've a fair idea what I'm doing.
