One thing that the viewers of the videos might notice is that on that VINTAGE National 12 fret guitar, I sometimes hit the 12th fret with a slide slightly flat. It annoys me that I do that.
I had a NRP Delphi for nearly 10 years (12 fret neck) that I always reached the 12th fret dead-on. However, vintage National 12 fretters are actually more like 11 3/4 frets to the body join. I'm so used to the pinky-side edge of my hand hitting the side of the guitar, to know I should be at the 12th fret (on a NRP guitar). On a vintage Nat, doing this I stop just short of the 12th fret sometimes - ie. FLAT !!!
