Hiya guys... If you're interested in some new music please check out www.myspace.com/lowmountainmusic ..... 'Low Mountain' is the title of a new songwriting project that I've been working on with my good friend Tobes and this song 'Don't Lose Your Faith' is the first track out of the traps...there's another on the way very shortly, so I'll keep ya'll posted... For the slide work I'm using my recently modded Fender Strat, played lapsteel-style. Enjoy, and all comments and feedback gratefully received! Best regards, Niall

Thanks so much for the kind words lads, really appreciate it. Now, I'm delighted to report that the second song from this new project is now available on www.myspace.com/lowmountainmusicThe track is called 'Captive Blue'...another co-write with my mate Alan. Check out the sound from my little Busker Hobo (playing the motif/riff)...ain't it pretty? Best regards, Niall

Niall Listened to your 2 songs , I really liked them, very well done indeed, also its nice to know Michael has forum members on his site capable of writing and performing their own original stuff that good Hey Michael what a great idea maybe have a section letting members post their original songs and musical collaborations on the forum........ all original stuff , no " woke up this morning I believe I dust my broom" type of stuff
regards Growler

Hi Nial, WOW - that is just excellent. ;D It is just so good to hear that little lap slide guitar heading off on new ventures I must do some group recordings with mine - I'm having a lot of fun exploring its growl and bark Robin

Hi Niall, 'Don't lose your faith' is beautiful and haunting (although I have the attention span of a gnat so you lost me at the multiple repeats just after the 3 minute mark).
'Captive blue' is truely great, I really enjoyed it (all the way through!).

Hiya guys!
Thanks loads for the kind words...much appreciated!
Bill, you probably have a point about the length of the first track...at close on six minutes, it's a bit on the long side alright...think that'll have to be the 12" version or the album version or something!!! We'll won't worry about a shortened 'radio edit' until we can find some station to play it first!! ;D ;D
Cool!

re Some New Music. The three seconds I could hear befoire my download started stuttering sounded great. Does anyone else have that problem? Both 'tube and 'space downloads stutter, stop, restart, with distorted sound, the whole enchilada. It started in Early Sept, and kept happening until mid dec, then suddenly i stated getting perfect downloads, but only for four days.
If anyone has any tips I'd be grateful ; I've done all the obvious things (updated drivers/Nvidia ; stripped down startup and services menues ; scanned ; etc. Even restore didn't work. Last week I restored to the date the downloads suddenly stated working again but it didn't restore.

I find that my computor thingy runs best on good quality Welsh anthracite coal. House coal or modern smokeless nuggets are useless and have it coughing and spluttering all over the place. ;D ;D ;D

Might work for you down in them thar rain-soaked hills of Welsh Wales, Robin, but mine needs two working modes up here in sunny Yorkshire: Wensleydale cheese with home-made pickle and a pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord during the winter until it slips into BIOS* mode in the late spring.
Cheerily,

Oh BTW - fabulous music, Niall! We want more, we want more...
