At "The Public", New St, West Brom, 8:00pm onwards, Sat 22/11/8. Maxx will be there with his Yellow Bitch Strat (l/h, 13s, how good's your grip?) making a complete tit of himself ;D as usual. White feather has gone out to Darowyn and Diamond on Big Road Blues, anybody here game for a laugh?

I'll be there, plus drums, bass and harp....we were house band for the last one, so I'm sort of expecting the same sort of thing..but who knows who else might turn up!
Well, you might as well come along and suppport it and get your money's worth (it's free to get in by the way), whether you are a local taxpayer or play the Lottery, as over £50 million went into the building from various sources, all of it public money one way or another. I must admit, it was nice to play in a shiny, brand new, trendy venue instead of the more down-market sort of places I'm more used to.

Ow Doo lads ...Maxx - i got your p.m. from the Big Road Blues forum's (cheers mate ), but couldn't reply at the time 'cos i'd already got something else booked that wasn't 100% certain to go ahead....it got the 'green light' yesterday, so unfortunately i can't make it - but thanks for the heads-up....have a good un P.S......and being a Baggies fan, trips to West Bromwich these days just don't have the same appeal as they used too ! I'll be there, Moss (bass player says he'll come but not play), Noel, a recently discovered drummer, is interested. The 4th seat in my van is down to either my brother deciding to come along or, if he doesn't, Clive.
Ve schall see, ja?
What amps, by the way? I'm after something clean, loadsa gain, drop the bass and mid range down, moderate reverb.

I'll have my Sessionette 75 so that should do the trick for you. Saw Clive last night at The Crossroads and told him about it, and that you were intending to come along.

Yup, organised. You know, one day we're going to see this alleged Trace Elliot he's got knocking about.
I've got an old Phoenix 100w head and 2 cabs with a pair of G12-80 Celestions I'm after selling. No reverb, but suit somebody with one of them little modelling widgets. Reliable loudness, guaranteed wall and hearing/mind remover.
