Hi, I am interested in learning slide and have just purchased a (relatively) inexpensive Regal Dobro style guitar. Can I ask would the weekend at Polkington be suitable for a slide beginner like me?
regards Iain

;D Yes! After a weekend of Messer's intensive treatment you will come away with the confidence to take your slide playing forward. You will also get the chance to join our great EBA blues family of like-minded folk. Get there and enjoy. ps To all, I'll not be on duty this time as I'm having my leg "adjusted" tomorrow. Phil

Hi Iain,
Phil said it all in his post! The EBA is for everybody interested in this type of music. We are not an elitist organization that only encourages experienced players with expensive guitars. In fact quite the opposite - the EBA encourages everyone to get involved and to learn. You would be made very welcome, you would learn a lot and you would meet 50 or so like-minded blues fans. Can't be bad!
If you have any more questions about the EBA, please feel free to ask.
Shine On, Michael.
