Hi Michael,
I was wondering if you could remind me who makes the lightweight cases you had in Northampton and where I could get one from please?

Hi Simon, They are called POD cases and the one that fits Nationals & Dobros is the classical model. They come in various colours and are very reasonably priced. I use them all the time these days. Except when I go through airports, then I use Calton cases. Here's some bumph I just found on the Internet www.stentor-music.com/catalogue/html%20general/18.htmA revolutionary range of ultra lightweight guitar cases at affordable prices with the added benefits of high impact resistance and good insulation properties. Thanks Michael. Am thinking of going down to London for Bob Brozman's workshop at the resocentre and the last thing I want to do is lug a hard case around with me for the rest of the day!
Oh- and it ocurred to me that Mariah Carey really ought to be on the list of things that should be told to .... ...

Hi Simon,
You're right there! ....I'll put her on the list.
The Pod cases are really cheap, but excellent. I sprayed mine with a canvas/tent water-proofer. I have used mine almost every day for the past three years & they are all still in one piece.
Take care, Shine On, Michael.
